Little Hands Charity Bazaarにご協力いただきありがとうございました。

CHES Little Hands Charity Bazaarは、今年も大盛況でした。保護者の方々、近隣の方々、在園生のみなさん、ご協力いただき本当にありがとうございます。そしてアフター・クラスの卒園生までご協力いただき、本当にありがとうございました。

小さな手で育てた苗を販売、その売上金をいま困っている方々に寄付するというのが、CHES Little Hands Projectの趣旨ですが、今年も近隣の方からたくさんの苗やポットを寄付していただきました。本当にご協力ありがとうございます。改めて御礼申し上げます。

そしてBlue Bird（年少学齢）以下のお子さんに大人気だったのが、Picture Dictionary Book！ 在庫があったので割引価格で販売したところ、すぐに完売。私の息子たちも幼い頃、大好きで寝る前によく読んでいました。買ってもらったPicture Dictionary Bookを大事そうに抱えた微笑ましい様子をみていると、当時のことが懐かしく思い出されます。

私たちの住むこの神戸の街が地震により被災したのが1995年。建物が崩れ、水道管が破裂して道路から水が噴き出し、阪神高速が倒れ、火災が起こり、街中が大混乱だった様子は、いまでも忘れることができません。

崩壊し意気消沈していた街の復興に力を貸してくれたのが、日本中から集まってきてくれた多くのボランティアのみなさんでした。そして多くの国からもご支援をいただきました。

いつまでたっても覚めない混乱した夢の中にいるような日々、多くの方々に励まされ、助け合い、支えていただいたことをいまでも心から感謝しています。

今年のCHES Little Hands Charity Bazaarの売上金は、2023年2月に地震により大きな被害を受けたトルコに支援金を送ることにしています。トルコとシリアでは5万9千人以上が命を落とし、両国では数百万人が被害を受けているそうです。

いま、私たちにできること。国境を越えて子どもたちのあたたかい気持ちをトルコへ届けたいと思います。

🪴Little Hands Charity Bazaar was a Success!🪴

Hello everyone, and first of all, a big thank you to everyone who braved the rainy weather to visit the bazaar today!

The children were excited from the beginning of the day. We knew that the bazaar would be later, and we had spent a long time preparing.

To review:

1. – We learned all about seeds, and then planted our own in small pots.
2. – We took care of the plants, taking turns volunteering to help water them if they needed it.
3. – We colored and designed Little Hands covers to put around the pots.
4. – We used the donated milk cartons as holders for the pots to keep them safe!

With that all completed, we were so happy to help sell the plants, and buy them ourselves! It was satisfying to see the plants grow from tiny seeds, and they still have much further to grow.

We even had other plants donated from our neighbors, who are always happy to help.

Red Fox and White Owl had special jobs too.

We helped to prepare the plants by placing them neatly inside the holders.

We also took turns as cashiers to receive the money and thank the patrons.

As usual, we will donate the money we received from purchases to a worthy cause.

2020年から2022年3月までのお子さんをお持ちの保護者の方対象の入園説明会を6月10日（土）・17日（土）に開催します。

募集人数は、2020年4月から2021年3月のお誕生日のお子さんは1~2名程度、2021年4月から2022年3月のお誕生日のお子さんは3名程度を予定しています。

昨年の説明会では、多くの保護者の方々とは身近な距離でお話しでき、育児や学習などのご質問のやりとりも楽しく充実した時間を過ごすことができました。今回も、幼児期からの発達段階、5歳までの環境の大切さ、子育てについてなどもお話ししたいと考えています。幼児教育や英語教育にご関心をお持ちの保護者の方は、ぜひ、ご参加ください。
