Summer Class of Younger Kids: Day 2

Good day!

We finished our Days of the Week Craft today. Good job everyone!

We were lucky because it wasn’t so hot today. We had the chance to go to the small park. We ran, we played, and we had fun! We chased after bubbles as well.

And look at this picture, so timely… we found a very big caterpillar too!

Summer Class of Big Kids: Day 1~2

Hello everyone!

Today was the second day in our holiday class this week. Here is a review of everything we did and talked about so far.

The first day was an introduction to living things.

We read the Hungry Caterpillar book and discussed what different living things eat.

We broke our class into different parts: topic time, science time, English time, and more. That way, we could do lots of different things.

For example, we went to the park and played a game of Carnivores and Herbivores. Try and catch the balloons!

Today, we played Amoeba Tag. We needed to stay together as partners, but we got bigger with the more people we caught!

Even though it was hot outside, we had fun! We found some bugs and stayed cool.

For English time, we learned vocabulary based on the days of the week.

For day 1, it was Monday. So, we needed to find words starting with Mo.

Moon, mouse, monkey, and more!

For day two, it was Tuesday. So, we needed to find words starting with Tu.

This one was a little harder, but we got a bunch in the end. Tuna, tusk, tummy, and more!

For science time, we looked at the microscope on day 1. Flowers, tomatoes, and cicada shells looked interesting close up.

Today we tried our hand at making a craft. Since our topic was eggs, we focused on using egg cartons.

We made dinosaurs out of them (and one volcano).

Tomorrow, we will continue the circle of life, and talk about what happens after animals hatch from eggs. Today we watched videos about mothers protecting their eggs. What will happen after they hatch?

年少さんのサマークラス。2日目

こんにちは。

今日は曜日のクラフトを仕上げました。みんなよく頑張ったね。

今日は暑くなかったので、ラッキーでした。小さな公園に行くことができました。

走ったり、遊んだり、楽しかったね。シャボン玉も追いかけました。

そして、この写真を見てください！とてもタイムリーです（今回のTopicは the Hungry Caterpillar book ） 。

ビッグキッズのサマークラス 1日目~2日目

みなさん、こんにちは。

今日は今週のホリデークラスの2日目でした。今までの復習をしましょう。

1日目は、生き物の紹介でした。

はらぺこあおむしの本を読んで、どんな生き物が何を食べるのかを話し合いました。トピックの時間、科学の時間、英語の時間など、クラスをいろいろなパートに分けました。そうすることで、いろいろなことができるようになりました。

例えば、公園に行って、肉食動物と草食動物のゲームをしました。

風船をキャッチしてみよう。

今日は、アメーバ鬼ごっこをしました。パートナーとして一緒にいなければならないのですが、捕まえた人が多いほど大きくなっていきます。

外は暑かったけど、楽しかったね。虫を見つけたり、涼んだりしました。

英語の時間では、曜日にちなんだ単語を学びました。

1日目は月曜日でした。そこで、Moから始まる単語を探しました。Moon（月）、mouse（ネズミ）、monkey（サル）などなど。

2日目は火曜日。Tuから始まる単語を探しました。これは少し難しかったのですが、最終的にたくさんの単語を見つけることができました。Tuna, tusk, tummy, などなど。

理科の時間では、1日目に顕微鏡を見ました。花やトマト、セミの抜け殻など、近くで見ると面白いですね。

今日は工作に挑戦しました。卵がテーマなので、卵パックに注目しました。

恐竜を作ったり、火山を作ったりしました。

明日は、ライフサイクルの続きとして、動物が卵から孵った後のことを話します。今日は、母親が卵を守るビデオを見ました。孵化した後はどうなるのでしょうか？
