10月10日にCHES Sports Dayを楽しく過ごした後、さっそく子どもたちは、次へむかい始めています。先週お知らせしたとおり、翌週にはさっそくBlue Bird（年少学齢）以上の子どもたち全員で「神戸須磨シーワールド」へ遠足。

そしていま、ハロウィンの準備を楽しみながら、今月のTopic「imagination」にあわせて「Our Project」に熱心に取り組んでいます。一作年、昨年の「絵本」や「アニメーション」に引き続き、今回はどんな作品をみんなで作りあげてくるのか、いまから楽しみです。

Goodbye Sports Day, What’s Next?

Thank you to everyone for coming to the CHES Sports Day on October 10th to cheer on your kids.

We were quite happy with how it turned out. Everyone did a great job preparing and practicing, and an even better job performing on the day. Dealing with nervousness and managing mistakes is a big part of growing up. I think all the kids handled themselves very well.

During the practice time before the event, everyone was unsure how it would go. However, by the end we were all smiles!

10月10日のCHES運動会にお越しいただき、お子さんを応援していただいた皆様、ありがとうございました。

結果にはとても満足しています。みんなが準備と練習をしっかりやり遂げ、当日のパフォーマンスもさらに素晴らしいものでした。緊張を乗り越え、ミスをコントロールすることは、成長過程において大きな力となります。子どもたちみんなが、とても上手に振る舞っていたと思います。

本番前の練習中は、どうなるか不安な様子でしたが、最後には皆笑顔で迎えてくれました！

After a recap and review today, we could finally close the book on Sports Day for this year. Our next performing event will be in December, I think. We will need to start thinking about that sooner than you might think😝!

For now, though, October has plenty of interesting things for us to focus on.

今日は振り返りと復習を終えて、今年の運動会もいよいよ終わりました。次のパフォーマンスイベントは12月になると思います。皆さんが思っているよりも早く、そのことについて考え始めなければなりませんね😝

とはいえ、10月は私たちが集中できる楽しいことがたくさんあります。

Lasat Friday We went on a field trip to Suma Sea World. And now,we are working hard on Our Project, writing and designing. Our topic of imagination has us playing funny games and reading chapter books. And of course, the end of October is Halloween!

We wanted to make our classroom more Halloween-themed. In addition to our bats from last week, we started making our own ghosts too!

先週の金曜日には須磨シーワールドへ遠足にいきました。そしていま、私たちは「Our Project」の作文とデザインに一生懸命取り組んでいます。「想像力」をテーマに、楽しいゲームをしたり、絵本を読んだりしています。そしてもちろん、10月の終わりはハロウィンです！

教室をもっとハロウィン仕様にしたかったので、先週作ったコウモリに加えて、自分たちでゴーストも作り始めました！

Halloween is almost Here

First, we would need to tightly squeeze a piece of newspaper to make a small ball shape. Then, we could add a soft paper towel overtop to make it white and flowy like a ghost. We added a face, too.

For our final step, we will need to add yarn and find good places to hang them up around the classroom. If they are near windows or fans, they will blow and float around. This should definitely help to build our spooky, Halloween atmosphere!

まず、新聞紙をぎゅっと握って小さなボール型を作ります。その上に柔らかいペーパータオルをかぶせて、ゴーストのように白くふわふわになるようにします。顔も描きました。

最後のステップとして、毛糸を用意して、教室のあちこちに吊るすのにちょうどいい場所を探します。窓や扇風機の近くなら、風に吹かれて宙を舞います。これでハロウィンの不気味な雰囲気がさらに盛り上がるはずです！
