「プリ・クラス」では、6月のTopic「Everything I Love」にあわせて、家族、家庭、学校のお友だちまですべての人々について学んでいます。そのなかでも最も愛すべき存在のひとりでもある「父」。今週は「父の日」にあわせて、日ごろお世話になっているパパに大切なプレゼントをみんなで作成しました。

Happy Father’s Day 🦸‍♂️

After the Little Hands Bazaar this year, our pace relaxed a bit and we had some time to work on some personal things. While May was about us, June is about things we love, which is still very important to us!

Family, households, friends at school, all the people around us are the first topic we want to focus on. Who do you love, and what does love mean?

It’s a big question! One of the best ways to define something is to think about some examples. We made some lists of different kinds of love and different things we loved, and then put them together. Take a look at our love wheel!

今年の「Little Hands Bazaar」の後、私たちのペースは少し落ち着き、Topicの課題に時間を割くことができました。5月のTopicは「私たち自身」についてでしたが、6月は「愛するすべてのもの」、つまり私たちにとって今でもとても大切なものについてです。

家族、家庭、学校の友だち、周りのすべての人々が、私たちが最初に焦点を合わせたいテーマです。あなたは誰を愛していますか？ そして、愛とはどういう意味ですか？

これは大きな問いです。何かを定義する最良の方法の一つは、いくつかの例を考えることです。様々な愛の形と、愛したものをいくつかリストアップし、それらをまとめました。私たちの愛の輪をご覧ください。

Our Love Wheels

First, we cut out circles using our technique of tracing from a paper plate. We were getting good at this now, and could make some very round circles! This time, we also added a dot in the middle of our circle, which we would use in our last step.

On the circle, we tried to think of the center as the top, and turned it while drawing all sorts of things we loved. Food, colors, animals, and of course people! We made sure to design it and make it look pretty too, because doing a good job is something we love as well.

But this wasn’t the end. If that was all, it would just be a love circle. But we are making a love wheel! We added a second circle, this time with a piece cut out of it to cover the circle. Then, we added the last step: a pin in the center, to make the wheel spin!

This way, we could use the wheel to view the circle bit by bit, and focus on everything that was on it one by one. We could guess what we might see on everyone’s wheel, and be surprised at what came next. It was a good way to share our love!

まず、紙皿からなぞるというテクニックを使って円を切り抜きました。だんだん上手になってきて、とっても丸い円が作れるようになってきました。今回は、最後のステップで使う点も円の真ん中に描きます。

円の中心を頂点として、好きなものをいろいろ描きながら回転させます。食べ物、色、動物、そしてもちろん人！上手に描くのも大好きなので、デザインにも気を配り、見た目もきれいに仕上げていきます。

しかしこれで終わりではありません。もしこれで終わりだったら、ただの愛の円になってしまいます。私たちは愛の輪を作っているのです。2つ目の円を追加し、今度は円を覆うように切り抜きました。そして、最後のステップ、中央にピンを刺して、輪を回すようにしました。

こうすることで、輪を使って円を少しずつ見て、その上にあるものすべてに一つずつ焦点を合わせることができました。みんなの輪に何が見えるかを予想し、次に何が起こるかに驚くことができました。愛を分かち合う良い方法でした。

Our Big Project

Now, how about what we said about people we love? Mother’s Day was a fun celebration in May, and this month, we want to celebrate Dad too! We made a special present for Dad, so if you’re planning on surprising him, make sure he’s not looking at this post! Dads, turn away now!

We spent the week this week thinking about our dads. Who is he? Do we know his name, his job, what he likes? We did our best to make some papers and designs that he would enjoy.

Our big project, however, was our paper fan! We had a similar gift last year, but this year, we upgraded to a BIG version! A bigger fan means more air. Hopefully it’s useful for the warm weather ahead! We designed it as best we could to make Dad happy.

Happy Father’s Day, dads! Make sure you get a chance to relax and spend time with your family. And if you’re lucky, eat something yummy that you love!

さて、愛する人についてはどう話しましたか？ 5月の母の日は楽しいお祝いでしたね。今月はお父さんのこともお祝いしたいですよね。お父さんのために特別なプレゼントを用意したので、サプライズを考えている方は、この投稿を見ていないように気をつけてくださいね。お父さんたち、今すぐ目をそらしてください。

今週は、お父さんのことを考えながら過ごしました。お父さんはどんな人？名前、仕事、好きなものは知っていますか？お父さんが喜んでくれそうな紙やデザインを一生懸命作りました。

私たちの最大のプロジェクトは、「ウチワ」です。去年も似たようなプレゼントを贈りましたが、今年はさらに大きなサイズにグレードアップしました。ウチワが大きければ風量も増えます。これからの暖かい季節に役立ててもらえると嬉しいです。お父さんに喜んでもらえるよう、精一杯デザインしました。

お父さんたち、父の日おめでとうございます。リラックスして家族と過ごす時間を大切にしてくださいね。そして、運が良ければ、大好きな美味しいものも食べてみてください。

Blue Bird Class

We also talked about the special day that’s coming up. Father’s Day!

Everyone loves their dad, and to show our love, we wanted to give them something special that they can use and remember their child by 😊

We printed our handprints on a fan using paint and decorated it to make it even more beautiful. We worked extra hard, thinking about how happy it would make our dads!

私たちも、もうすぐやってくる特別な日、父の日について話しました。

みんなお父さんが大好きですよね。だから、お父さんへの愛情を示すために、お父さんが使うことでお子さんのことを思い出せる特別なものを贈りたいと思いました😊

ウチワに絵の具で手形を描いて、さらに美しくデコレーションしました。お父さんがどれだけ喜んでくれるかを考えながら、一生懸命頑張りました。

Yellow Kangaroo Class

For this week, we had some topics about fathers. We prepared so much for our fathers because they work for us, they protect us, they love us very much and they give everything to us.

We have a simple present wherein we had hand paint to remember that we have a little hand that loves to hold, touch and cuddle our fathers.

今週は、お父さんについていくつかテーマを取り上げました。お父さんは私たちのために働き、私たちを守り、私たちを深く愛し、そして私たちにすべてを与えてくれるので、私たちはお父さんのためにたくさんのプレゼントを用意しました。

お父さんを抱きしめ、触れ、寄り添うのが大好きなお子さんのことを思い出すために、手描きの絵の具を使ったシンプルなプレゼントを用意しました。

Kindly remember this size and when it becomes bigger, our time will come that we will do everything for our fathers and also to our mothers. We would like to thank you and we would like to express our appreciation to our fathers, our uncles, and our grandfathers.
