The weather was too hot for us to visit the park. That’s why we stayed in the school and played at the CHES park. We jumped and we used the slide. It was okay.

Today, we talked about Tanabata ‘Star Festival’. We heard the story of the princess and prince who met in Amanogawa. She is Orihime. He is Hikoboshi. They meet together on July 7th, 2022.  Children look forward to this special day as a sign that summer has truly arrived.

It’s said that your wishes will come true if you write them down on strips of paper called tanzaku and hang them on bamboo branches. We will have our bamboo. We have the advance version of this festival.

For Yellow Kangaroo, we used ‘I want to have . . . ‘.💫

For Blue Bird, we used ‘I want to be . . . ‘.🌟

We also ate cucumbers, fresh from the garden😊

天気が良すぎて、公園には行けませんでした。だから、私たちは教室に残って、CHES Parkで遊びました。ジャンプしたり、滑り台を使ったり。楽しかったです。

今日は七夕の話をしました。天の川で出会ったお姫様と王子様の話を聞きました。彼女は織姫、彼は彦星です。二人の出会いは2022年7月7日。子どもたちは、いよいよ夏が来た日として、この特別な日を楽しみにしています。

短冊に願い事を書いて笹に吊るすと叶うと言われています。私たちは笹を用意する予定ですが、その前の準備があるんです。

Yellow Kangaroo（年少以下）のクラスは、’I want to have…. ‘を書きます。

Blue Bird（年少）クラスは、’I want to be …  ‘を書きます。

そしてまた、庭で採れた新鮮なキュウリも食べました。
