ピクニック！

インターナショナル・プリスクールCHES

先週、「プリ・クラス」全員で少し遠くの公園までピクニックにでかけて行きました。年少学齢未満のYellow Kangarooクラスのお友だちにとっては、お弁当持参の初めてのピクニックです。それでも年少学齢から年長学齢のまでのお兄ちゃん・お姉ちゃんにサポートしてもらいながら楽しい一日を過ごすことができました。

そして、年少学齢から年長学齢のまでのBlue Bird、Red FoxやWhite Owlクラスの子どもたちは、幼いお友だちをサポートしながらも、「5感」で感じる「なにか」を探す自分たちのタスクも忘れることなくしっかり楽しんでいましたよ。

Picnic at the Park — Let’s Enjoy Spring!🍃🐞

Today was an exciting day, because we were going to go on an adventure to a park we hadn’t been to as a group before. It was farther down the road than we usually go, so we needed to make sure we were prepared.

Tea bottles filled up? Check.
Lunch bags and mats? Check.
Use the restroom before we go? Check.
Have a plan? Check!

As we were all travelling together, including Yellow Kangaroo, we would need to work as a team and make sure everyone stayed safe. We reviewed our rules about park safety, including ways to prevent heat stroke, getting lost, and getting hurt. Before long, we were ready to go!

今日はとてもわくわくする一日です。というのも、これまでグループで行ったことのない公園への冒険旅行に出かけるからです。いつも行く場所よりも少し遠いので、万全の準備が必要でした。

お茶のボトルは満タン？
ランチバッグとマットは？
出発前にトイレは済ませた？
計画は？

Yellow Kangarooも含めて、みんなで一緒に旅行するので、チームとして協力し、全員の安全を確保する必要がありました。熱中症、迷子、怪我の予防法など、公園の安全に関するルールを確認。あっという間に出発準備完了です！

Our journey had us cross streets, greet construction workers, see elementary school friends, and walk down hills.　Our eyes lit up when we saw the park. What a great place to play and have a picnic! It wasn’t long before we were all over the jungle gym, climbing and running and sliding.

However, Red Fox and White Owl had another goal to complete: a five senses scavenger hunt! Each student would need to find something interesting that they could see, something they could smell, something they could touch, and so on.

道路を渡ったり、工事現場の作業員の方に挨拶したり、小学校で卒園生のお友だちに会ったり、丘を下ったりと、様々な体験をしました。公園を見た瞬間、私たちの目は輝きました。なんて遊んだりピクニックをしたりするのに最適な場所でしょう。すぐにジャングルジムのあちこちで、登ったり走ったり滑ったりして遊びました。

しかし、Red FoxとWhite Owl のクラスにはもう一つ目標がありました。五感を刺激する宝探しゲームです。子どもたちはそれぞれ、目に見えるもの、匂いを嗅ぐもの、触るものなど、なにか面白いものを見つけなければなりません。

It was a good way to get them to explore a new place, listen to their surroundings, and learn. They helped each other and shared ideas, all while enjoying their time at the park.

There were a lot of new places to go and things to explore. Everyone had a lot of fun, but also took care of each other and made sure no one got hurt. We made sure to have a few tea breaks too to make sure we were hydrated.

Before long it was lunch time. We set up our picnic mats on the grass and joined our friends. Some ants or bees might get curious, but we were in their area today. We would have to share the space!

これは、子どもたちに新しい場所を探検させ、周りの音に耳を傾け、学ばせる良い方法でした。子どもたちは公園での時間を楽しんでいる間、互いに助け合い、アイデアを共有していました。

たくさんの新しい場所や探検するものがありました。みんなとても楽しかったのですが、お互いに気を配り、誰も怪我をしないように気を付けました。水分補給のために、何度かお茶休憩も取りました。

まもなく昼食の時間になりました。芝生にピクニックマットを敷き、友達と合流しました。アリやハチが好奇心旺盛なこともあるかもしれませんが、今日は彼らのエリアなので、スペースを共有しなければならないのです。

It didn’t take much longer after we were done lunch for our energy to start to wane. We had been in the park for the whole day, so it was soon time to head back to CHES.

We did a great job exploring and helping each other. We cleaned up after ourselves and treated the park well. We saw insects and flowers and leaves and all sorts of things.

It was a good day!

昼食を終えてすぐに、私たちのエネルギーが少なくなり始めました。一日中公園にいたので、すぐにCHESに戻る時間になりました。

私たちは探索を楽しみ、お互いに助け合いました。後片付けもしっかりして、公園を大切に使いました。昆虫や花、葉っぱなど、色々なものを見ました。

素敵な一日でした。

Our First Picnic – Yellow Kangaroo

It was a hot day. The sun was up so high and bright🌞 It was the best day to have a picnic🧺 Thank you for your wonderful easy lunch. They ate it all nicely👍

In our circle time, we discussed the rules. Listen to your teacher. Hold on to your friends. Walk and be strong💪

At the park, we saw many slides. It has different levels of playground too. It has swings and other play place also.

Playing at the park makes us happy. Our friends take care of our safety. We might be small but we can run so much!
