インターナショナル・プリスクールCHES

4月も後半になり、ようやく各クラスともそれぞれの日常に戻り始めています。そんななか、この日は「Little Hands Project」のために花の種まきと、夏野菜の植え付けをしました。

まだまだ実力不足なのか💦、種を植えるポットに土をいれる作業から大騒ぎでしたが、Blue Bird（年少学齢）とYellow Kangaroo（年少未満）のみんなもがんばって作業に参加していましたよ。

Shapes are everywhere – Let’s plant!（Blue Bird）

We are happy that the weather is getting warmer every single day. We hope that we still have some time before it gets super-hot! Until then, we will try to grab each chance to enjoy our time outside.

Today was one of those typical days where we headed to the park to play with our friends. We kept running around and enjoyed the warm sun. As expected, we fell down too but it’s all a part of our growth! I can’t wait to hear them say, “Ms. Dilara, I fell down but I’m not crying!” 😊 We’re still working on it, but I know it will eventually happen.

日に日に暖かくなってきて嬉しいです。猛暑になるまでまだ少し時間があるといいなと思っています。それまでは、外で過ごす機会を逃さず楽しんでいきたいと思います。

今日はいつものように、みんなで公園へ遊びに行きました。走り回りながら、暖かい日差しを満喫しました。案の定、転んでしまいましたが、これも成長過程の一つです。「ディラーラ先生、転んだけど泣いてないよ！」って、みんなに言われるのが待ち遠しいです😊 まだ練習中ですが、いつかきっとできると信じています。

Before we headed to the park, we had a special duty today in CHES. During circle time, we were together with the big kids and all discussed the mission of the day.

We learned that today was planting for our Little Hands Project because we want to grow plants and sell them to help people who may need money. We know how important helping is! After circle time, we went down and got to business. We made small holes in the pots and planted our seeds. We are looking forward to seeing our sunflowers and marigolds grow.

公園へ行く前に、今日はCHESで特別にするべきことがありました。サークルタイムの間、上級生たちと一緒にそのミッションについて話し合いました。

今日は、Little Hands Projectのための植えつけの日だと学びました。植物を育ててバザーを開催、困っている人たちを助けたいからです。助け合うことの大切さを実感しています。サークルタイムの後は、教室から下に降りて作業に取り掛かりました。ポットに小さな穴を開け、種を植えました。ひまわりとマリーゴールドが育つのを楽しみにしています。

Shapes!

For the last two days, we have been focusing on shapes! We sang different songs about shapes and tried to remember their names. We learned about different shapes together and played games where we needed to spot them! We got our binoculars ready and tried to find the correct shapes.

Then, we even used our magic boards to see if we could draw them or not. I’m surprised that they did really well most of the time. We also completed a color and shape worksheet activity. By looking at the shape and its color, they needed to color the worksheet.

この2日間は、形について重点的に学びました。さまざまな「形」についての歌を歌い、形の名前を覚えようとしました。みんなで一緒にさまざまな形について学び、形を見つけるゲームもしました。双眼鏡を用意して、正しい形を見つけようとしました。

その後、マジックボードを使って、形を描けるかどうか試しました。ほとんどの場合、子どもたちがとても上手に描けたので驚きました。色と形のワークシートを使ったアクティビティも行いました。形と色を見て、ワークシートに色を塗るというアクティビティです。

Flower Planting（Kangaroo）

It was a good day. It was really hot outside. It is the best day to plant flowers. We planted today here at school. We got Marigold, Sunflower, and one more. We will water the plants every morning. We will take care of them. Every morning, we can say hello. The pots are located downstairs.

In our circle time, we saw the older kids planted in CHES garden. They were able to plant many such as tomatoes, cucumbers, watermelon, and peppers. We can see them therefore we were happy. When we grow up, we will also plant more🌱

良い一日でした。外はとても暑かったです。花を植えるには最高の日です。今日は学校で植えました。マリーゴールド、ひまわり、そしてもう1種類本植えました。毎朝水やりをします。お世話をします。毎朝、挨拶をすることができます。鉢は階下に置いてあります。

サークルタイムでは、年長の子どもたちがCHES Gardenで植えているのを見ました。トマト、キュウリ、スイカ、ピーマンなど、たくさんの野菜を植えることができました。私たちも見ることができて嬉しかったです。大きくなったら、私たちももっと植えます🌱

皆さんのお家にも庭がありますか？ なにかを植えますか？ 私たちと分かち合えると嬉しいです。

At the small park, we played with friends. We saw many colorful flowers too. There are still cherry blossoms outside. They are really beautiful.

For tomorrow, we will not have our PE class. We will stretch again and exercise in our circle time. Our goal this month is for them to follow the line of the rope.

We are learning the school rules here so one of them is to follow. Listen to your teacher. Walk inside the school.

Small Parkでみんなで遊びました。色とりどりの花もたくさん見ました。外にはまだ桜が咲いています。本当にきれいです。

明日は体育の授業がありません。サークルタイムでまたストレッチと運動をします。今月の目標は、ロープの線に沿って進むことです。

ここでは学校のルールを学んでいるので、その一つに「従う」ということがあります。先生の言うことをよく聞きましょう。そして教室のなかは（走らず）歩きましょうね。
