Good afternoon and welcome to the end of the week!

“Red Fox” and “White Owl” had a very busy week this week.

We enjoyed talking about many different topics and lessons.

And we were active too!

Because it is a new school year, it was first time to review the rules.

We spent time practicing reading and writing the school rules.

Additionally, we talked about situations where the rules are most important to follow.

We were able to draw pictures of scenes like this. For example, listening to your teacher is most important when walking to the park, because it is dangerous if a car is coming!

1. Listen to your teacher
2. Be kind to others
3. Walk inside the school
4. Keep our room neat

If we can do all these things, we will surely be happy and healthy no matter the situation!

Other things we did this week:

1. Learned and watched videos about interesting topics such as lightning and popcorn
2. Practiced writing, spelling, phonics, and sight words
3. Learned all about plants and how they grow
4. Had our first pianica, singing, and PE classes
5. Gave great Show and Tell performances
6. Had a stranger drill, where we talked about who it is okay to talk to when you’re outside

Next week:

Next week is Easter! We are going to go on an Easter Egg hunt and see what the Easter bunny left for us.

Also, we will finish our plant worksheets, and if we’re lucky with the weather, we can start planting some real plants of our own!

こんにちは！週明けもよろしくお願いします。

今週はRed Fox（年中）とWhite Owl（年長）クラスはとても忙しい一週間でした。私たちは様々なトピックやレッスンについて話しあうことを楽しみました。そして、私たちは活動的でもありました。新学期ということで、まずはルールを確認しました。園則を読んだり書いたりする練習をしました。また、ルールを守ることが大切な場面について話し合いました。このような場面を絵に描くことができました。例えば、公園まで歩いていくときは、車が来たら危ないから先生の話を聞くことが一番大事！など。

1. 先生の話を聞く
2. 人にやさしくする
3. 教室のなかでは（走らずに）歩きます
4. 部屋をきれいにする

これらのことができれば、どんな状況でもきっと幸せで健康になれると思います。

その他、今週はこんなことをしました。

1. 雷やポップコーンなど、面白いトピックのビデオを見ました。
2. ライティング、スペル、フォニックス、サイトワードの練習をしました。
3. 植物とその成長について学びました。
4. 初めてピアニカ、歌、体育の授業を受けました。
5. Show＆Tellのパフォーマンス。
6. 避難訓練で、外で話しかけても大丈夫な相手について話し合いました。

来週はイースターです。Easter Egg huntに出かけて、ウサギが残してくれたものを見てみましょう。何か面白いものが見つかるかな？　お楽しみに。そして植物のワークシートも完成させ、お天気に恵まれれば、本物の植物を植える予定です。乞うご期待！
