春先に植えた種をみんなで大切に育て、その苗をチャリティ・バザーで販売、売上金を寄付する「CHES Little Hands Bazaar 」を今年も開催することができました。（春先に種を植えた様子はこちら）

これまで北海道や熊本、トルコ、ウクライナなどの被災地域に寄付してきたのですが、突然バザー当日の朝に思わぬ悲しいニュースが飛び込んできたのです。CHESの先生の出身国でもあるフィリピンで大きな地震が発生していたのです。

朝のサークルタイムでは、「プリ・クラス」の子どもたちが先生から地震の状況を詳しく説明をしてもらった後、全員で黙とう。今年の「CHES Little Hands Bazaar 」にむけて気持ちを新たに準備を始めました。

残念ながらいくつかの植物は虫に食べられてしまって、出品数が想定していたよりも若干少なくなってしまいました…。それでも活動にご理解いただいた保護者の方々、子どもたちの活躍のおかげで「CHES Little Hands Bazaar 」は大盛況でした。ご協力いただたみなさま、改めて御礼申し上げます。ありがとうございました。

Growing Plants, Growing Compassion! – Yellow Kangaroo Class

Today was a day of learning, caring, and sharing for our Yellow Kangaroo Kids. As the children learned about the recent earthquake in the Philippines, we took the opportunity to help them understand that important events happen not only in our own country but also in neighboring countries.

Through this discussion, they learned the value of empathy, compassion, and extending a helping hand to those who are facing difficult times.

Coincidentally, today was also the day of our much-awaited Little Hand Bazaar! 🌱 Early this morning, the children proudly prepared the plants they had been caring for.

Together with the big kids, our Yellow Kangaroo Kids watered and nurtured these plants every day, showing patience, responsibility, and teamwork.

今日は、Yellow Kangarooの子どもたちにとって、学び、思いやり、そして分かち合いの一日でした。子どもたちはフィリピンで起きた地震について学び、重要な出来事は自分の国だけでなく近隣諸国でも起こることを理解する機会になりました。

この話し合いを通して、子どもたちは共感、思いやり、そして困難な状況にある人々に手を差し伸べることの大切さを学びました。

偶然にも、今日は待ちに待った「Little Hand Bazaar」の日🌱 今朝早く、子どもたちはこれまで育ててきた植物を誇らしげに準備しました。

Yellow Kangarooの子どもたちは、お兄さんお姉さんたちと一緒に、毎日植物に水をやり、愛情を込めて育てました。忍耐力、責任感、そしてチームワークを発揮しました。

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported our little activity today. Your kindness and generosity mean so much. The proceeds from this bazaar will be used to help individuals and groups in need, allowing our children to experience the joy of giving and making a difference in the lives of others.

From planting seeds to planting kindness in their hearts, today was a beautiful reminder that even little hands can create a big impact. 💚

本日、私たちのささやかな活動を支えてくださった皆様に、心より感謝申し上げます。皆様の温かいご支援とご厚意は、私たちにとって大きな励みとなりました。このバザーの収益は、困っている方々や団体への支援に活用させていただきます。子どもたちが、人に与える喜びや、他者の人生に変化をもたらす喜びを体験できる機会となります。

種を蒔くことから、子どもたちの心に優しさを育むことまで、今日は小さな手でも大きな影響を与えられることを改めて実感させてくれる、素晴らしい一日でした💚

思いやりと優しさにあふれた子どもたちのコミュニティを育むお手伝いをしていただき、本当にありがとうございました。

CHES Little Hands Bazaar 2026🌻 – Blue Bird Class

We first prepared the boxes for our pots and for the plants. We colored the papers in the best way we can. Then, we pasted it in the box. We felt the excitement for the bazaar. We can feel the happiness to reach our goal today. Our goal is to help other people in our own little ways.

CHES Little Hands Bazaar (where children grow, display, sell, or donate) can help children learn how to help others while developing important skills.

まず、植木鉢と植物を入れるポットを用意しました。紙にできる限り色を塗り、ポットに貼り付けました。バザーへの期待に胸を膨らませ、今日目標を達成できた喜びを噛み締めています。私たちの目標は、ささやかながらも人々の役に立つことです。

CHES Little Hands Bazaar（子どもたちが育てたものを展示・販売・寄付する場）は、子どもたちが大切なスキルを身につけながら、他者を助ける方法を学ぶ機会となります。

Moreover, there was a sad big news about the country of the Philippines. June 8, 2026 – a big earthquake happened. It occurred around 8 – 8:30 am.

I personally felt sad while explaining to our CHES’ kids. We hope that they can recover fast. Therefore, in our Little Own Hands, we will help them.

We will wait for the Red Cross Japan to open for the country of the Philippines. We hope and pray that it won’t happen again. Let’s all be safe!

さらに、フィリピンで悲しいニュースがありました。2026年6月8日、大きな地震が発生しました。発生時刻は午前8時から8時30分頃でした。

CHESの子どもたちにこのことを説明する際、私自身も胸が痛みました。子どもたちが一日も早く回復することを願っています。そこで、私たちも小さな手で子どもたちを支えていきたいと思います。

日本赤十字社がフィリピンへの支援活動を開始するのを待ちます。二度とこのようなことが起こらないよう、心から祈っています。皆、無事でいましょう。

Spreading the Love! Little Hands👐 – Red Fox / Whie Owl Class

Today was the day of our Little Hands bazaar! We did our best to gather all our plants together and see how they turned out. We had worked hard to water and take care of them. Now was our chance to sell them and make some money for charity!

While giving to people in need is a good thing, it also means that we need to learn about who needs the help. We learned that there was a powerful earthquake in the South Island of the Philippines on Monday morning. We saw a news report of kids at school during the earthquake, just like CHES.

Seeing the disaster helped to motivate us to want to give more. Hopefully our donations can go to a good place and the people affected by the earthquake can get some relief.

Our little hands are always hard at work!

今日は「Little Hands Bazaar」。みんなで力を合わせて、育ててきた植物を全部集めて、どんな風に育っているか見てみましょう。一生懸命水やりやお世話をしてきたので、いよいよ販売してチャリティーのための資金を集める機会がきたのです。

困っている人に手を差し伸べることは素晴らしいことですが、そのためには、誰が助けを必要としているのかを知ることも大切です。月曜日の朝、フィリピンの南島で強い地震があったことを知りました。CHESと同じように、地震発生時に学校にいた子どもたちのニュース報道も目にしました。

災害の惨状を知り、もっと多くの人に手を差し伸べたいという気持ちが強くなりました。私たちの寄付が、被災された方々の役に立つことを願っています。

小さな手も、いつも一生懸命がんばっています！
