この日、「プリ・クラス」のみんなで恒例のイースターエッグハントを楽しむことができました。今年はイースターの時期から少しずれてしまったのですが、「宝探し」と聞くだけで、もうみんなは大はしゃぎです。

White Owl（年長学齢）クラスのみんなはBlue Bird（年少学齢）クラスとチームを組んで宝の隠し場所を上手く探していきました。Yellow Kangaroo（年少学齢未満）クラスの子どもたちも、公園に隠された「卵」を手に取り誇らしげな様子。みんなの笑顔に包まれた穏やかな一日を過ごすことができました。

A Scavenger Hunt in the Park

It was a sunny Monday today. We welcomed everyone back from the weekend. Many kids had stories of things they did, or even reports of a nice relaxing time not doing much at all.

As promised, this week would be our chance to have an Easter event! Easter is traditionally held at the beginning of April and celebrates the arrival of spring. We were looking forward to the big event of the day: the Easter egg hunt!

The way we do it at CHES is in a scavenger hunt style. Using a paper with a checklist, we needed to search the park from top to bottom to find hidden cards that show different spring things.

今日は晴れた月曜日でした。週明けのみんなを温かく迎えました。子どもたちは週末の出来事を話してくれたり、何もせずにのんびり過ごしたりという話も聞かせてくれました。

約束通り、今週はイースターイベントを開催します！イースターは伝統的に4月上旬に行われ、春の訪れを祝うお祭りです。私たちはこの日のメインイベント、イースターエッグハントを心待ちにしていました。

CHESでは、宝探し形式でイースターエッグハントを行います。チェックリストが書かれた紙を使って、公園を隅から隅まで探し、春の様々なものが描かれた隠されたカードを見つけます。

There might be a flower card among flowers, a rabbit card peeking out the grass, or a bag of jellybeans card high up in a tree! There were also many different colored Easter egg cards with different patterns.

It took a long time and a few hints, but with everyone working together, we managed to find them all! As usual, it was a high-energy event and everyone had a great time.

White Owl had their first chance to be buddies for Blue Bird, and lead them around the park. However, it was a very hot day, and it wasn’t long before everyone was sweating after all the searching! We made sure to drink a lot of water and sit in the shade before heading back to CHES.

More Easter events are to come, so let’s enjoy the season.

花の中に花柄のカードがあったり、草むらからウサギのカードが顔を覗かせていたり、木の上にジェリービーンズの袋のカードがあったりと、他にも色とりどりの模様が入ったイースターエッグのカードがたくさんありました。

時間はかかり、ヒントも少しありましたが、みんなで協力して、ついに全部見つけることができました。いつものように、とても賑やかなイベントで、みんな大喜びでした。

White Owlの年長クラスのみんなは、Blue Birdの年少クラスの子どもたちをバディとして初めて公園を案内しました。しかしとても暑い日だったので、探し回った後、あっという間にみんな汗だくになってしまいました。CHESに戻る前に、しっかり水分補給をして日陰で休憩しました。

イースターイベントはまだまだ続きますので、この季節を楽しみましょう。

Little Explorers’ Egg Hunt Adventure

What a joyful and exciting day we had this morning! Our little learners（Yellow Kangaroo Class） went on a fun Egg Hunting Adventure at the park, and it was truly the highlight of the day.

As soon as we arrived, the children’s sparkled with excitement as they searched for the colorful hidden eggs. Each step was filled with curiosity and wonder – Where could the next egg be?

今朝は本当に楽しくてワクワクする一日でした。Yellow Kangarooクラスの年少学齢未満の子どもたちは公園で楽しいエッグハントアドベンチャーに出かけ、まさに今日のハイライトとなりました。

公園に着くとすぐに、子どもたちは色とりどりの隠された卵を探し始め、目を輝かせていました。一歩一歩、好奇心と驚きに満ち溢れ、「次の卵はどこにあるんだろう？」とワクワクしていました。

The children eagerly explored every corner of the park – behind trees, under benches, and along the grassy paths. When they found an egg, their faces lit up with happiness, especially when they discovered the mystery gift inside. It was such a delight to see them feel proud and excited about their little treasures.

子どもたちは木陰やベンチの下、芝生の小道など、公園の隅々まで熱心に探検しました。卵を見つけるたびに、子どもたちの顔は喜びで輝き、特に中に入っていたサプライズのプレゼントを見つけた時は、さらに嬉しそうでした。小さな宝物を見つけた子どもたちが誇らしげに、そして興奮している姿を見るのは、本当に幸せなひとときでした。

A movement activity using strings

In the afternoon, the fun continued with a movement activity using strings. The kids followed along with actions like up, up, up, down, down, down, and happily shook their bodies to the rhythm. It was wonderful to see their creativity and enthusiasm as they danced and moved freely.

Today was a beautiful day of exploration, movement, and happiness. We are so proud of our little explorers for their energy, participation, and joyful spirits!
